: Implementation
To implement this new Strategic Plan, the President of the College and the
President of the Board of Trustees will appoint six working groups, each with
a specific charge related to one of six goals detailed in the Strategic
Plan.
Working group members will include trustees, faculty, staff, alumnae, and
students. The faculty representatives will be chosen in consultation with the
College’s Faculty Representative Committee.
Each working group's charge will include developing specific approaches for
implementing its aspect of the plan, identifying necessary resources, and establishing
methods for measuring success. The many studies, reports, and suggestions that
College constituents have offered during the planning process will be valuable
resources for the working groups. External expertise also will be available
to these teams as needed.
The chair of each working group will be a member of an Implementation Steering
Committee. The Committee will be co-chaired by the President of the College
and the President of the Board of Trustees.
“There is more than one place on these teams for alumnae and for students
to work and plan side-by-side with faculty, staff, and trustees as we have
done in the past, and will continue to do in the future for the College we
all love.” —
Jolley Bruce Christman ’69,
President, Board of Trustees
