Kris Irwin Director of Safety & Security, ACT Certified

A southwest Virginia native, Kris brings over 20 years of experience in the law enforcement, safety and security fields to Randolph College. He loves the uniqueness and character of the campus community. Kris strongly believes in the formation of partnerships with campus organizations, groups and individuals. He notes that the security team cannot stand alone and must rely on community assistance and support to achieve their mission.

Angela Greene Safety & Security Supervisor, ACT Certified

Angela has been in the security field for nine years, much of that time in a supervisory role. Her vast experience includes working with Ericsson and with a federal government site in Charlottesville. She joined the Randolph College team in the spring of 2005. Having been here for three years, Angela says her favorite thing about being here is the wonderful community atmosphere the College provides.

Bob Cohernour Switchboard Operator
Bob is one of our third shift switchboard operators. He previously workd as a security officer here at the college, so he knows the campus well.

Roy Evans Security Officer, ACT Certified, EMS First Responder

A husband, and father of three, Roy is a lifetime resident of Lynchburg. He is an avid sports(Yankees/Colts)fan. Roy has worked here at Randolph College for over three years, and enjoys the friendliness, history, and traditions of the college.
Roy is a certified EMS First Responder.

Amanda is our go-to person when extra officers are needed. Amanda is familiar to many in the Randolph College community. She also works in the Skeller.
She is a welcome addition to our team.

David is our newest third shift officer. He is retired from the U.S. Navy.

Kim Napier Security Officer, ACT Certified, EMS First Responder

A Persian Gulf Navy veteran and professional dog trainer, Kim offers a broad range of experience to the team. Kim has been with Securitas since July 2002. The overall atmosphere of the College is very appealing to Kim.
Kim is a certified EMT Intermediate.

Lisa Reed Lead Switchboard Operator

Lisa has a diverse background of customer service ranging from Directory Assistance Operator to working in healthcare for Lynchburg City Schools. She is a wife and a mother of two young men who are now serving their country in the military. Lisa enjoys seeing the young people of Randolph College furthering their education to be future leaders and “movers and shakers”.

Patty joined the switchboard staff in October, 2006, after many years in real estate sales and working as a legal assistant. She enjoys meeting new people and being in a college atmosphere. She is a mother of two children, an avid baseball fan and has lived in Lynchburg for over 11 years.

Dora is one of our third shift officers. She has been in security work for 10 years. She is the mother of 4 children, 1 boy and 3 girls. Dora enjoys the overall atmosphere of the campus.

Lois Tabor Switchboard Operator

Lois is one of our 3rd shift switchboard operators, but also works other shifts as well. She joined our staff in June, 2008. She has worked in the medical field for the past 25 years, has switchboard experience from a busy doctor's office and was a medical transcriptionist for 15 years. She enjoys the atmosphere of the college campus and also enjoys the students as they further their education.

Fletcher Wilson Safety & Security Officer

Fletcher spent most of his working career in Materials Handling and Inventory Control. He began working here at the college in March, 2006. Fletcher enjoys being a part of the community environment. He especially enjoys the public contact during his patrols. Fletcher is married and is the father of four daughters and four stepsons.
