Randolph College provides emergency medical care in the form of First Responders. Kim Napier, Security Officer II, is certified as an EMT Enhanced. All Security Officers receive certification training in CPR, AED (Automatic External Defibrillators), basic first aid, and a wide array of training in the handling of injuries and emergency medical situations. Responders may be reached by dialing 434-947-8000 from a cell/iphone, extension '0' from any campus phone, or by using one of thirty-four emergency phones located across campus.

The Lynchburg Fire Department also responds to requests for emergency services that require additional assessment, evaluation, and transportation to local trauma centers for advanced medical care and treatment.
