The Safety and Security Department is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment where the Randolph College community and its guests can learn, live and work. Our department's core values are integrity, vigilance and helpfulness, and each team member is dedicated to translating these values into action every day.
It is our mission to promote a campus atmosphere where diverse social, cultural and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper through a combination of proactive, reactive and educational security services. We cannot stand alone; we rely on your assistance and support to achieve our mission. It is a formation of partnerships with campus organizations, groups and individuals that will assist us accomplishing our objectives. As part of our commitment to preparedness, we sustain close working relationships with the Lynchburg police, fire department and other emergency response organizations.
We sincerely hope that each of you will take an active role in preserving the safety and security of our community.
