Physics Professor Katrin Schenk Publishes Paper in Journal

Physics Professor Katrin Schenk published a paper in the journal, Gait and Posture . The paper detailed the outcome of a study in which her Mobile Monitoring (MM) system was used to assess gait speed in cohorts of young, middle aged, and aged subjects. Since gait speed is often considered a "sixth vital sign" this study represented an important validation of her (MM) system for the assessment of frailty and functional status in ambulatory subjects.
