Outcomes : Employment

A Randolph College education prepares our graduates not just for their first job, but for their entire career.

  • Over 44% of the 2004 Randolph graduates were employed within four months of graduation.

  • Barron’s Best Buys in Education, (seventh edition), placed Randolph College in the top 10% of colleges and universities nationwide in opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • One-third of the female board members of Fortune 1000 companies, and one-fifth of the women serving in the U.S. Congress, are graduates of women’s colleges.

  • The College offers annual workshops and small group sessions (ranging from Business Etiquette to Personal Financial Planning) to assist current students and Randolph College graduates.

As a varsity athlete, a member of the Board of Randolph College's student-run snack bar (The Skeller), and a scholar, one might think that Camila Burda would have had a full plate. But her passion for learning languages and teaching led her to a summer teaching position in China as an undergraduate.

Upon her return, she furthered her knowledge and deepened her passion for Asian studies in the classroom and upon graduation, made it her career, teaching English at the Suzhou International Foreign Language School in China.
