LYNCHBURG, Va. — The Randolph-Macon Woman's College Department of Theatre has announced its annual Openers Club membership campaign. The Openers Club, now in its twentieth season, offers members special theatre benefits including tickets to opening-night performances and festivities, as well as cocktails and dinner preceding each production. This year’s Openers Club performances include R-MWC alumna Valerie von Rosenvinge’s The Quarterly on October 31 and Shakespeare’s As You Like It on March 27.

In addition to the benefits extended to patrons, the fees support an annual scholarship for an outstanding and talented theatre major and enable the R-MWC Department of Theatre to offer students an opportunity to work closely with professional theatre practitioners through the Guest Artist Program The deadline for membership in the 2002-2003 Opener’s Club is October 23.
