
College cancels classes to celebrate importance of having fun

LYNCHBURG – Randolph-Macon Woman’s College celebrated its first annual MacDoodle Day on Friday, March 17.
To celebrate the new tradition, administrators canceled classes and hosted a day of activities for students, staff and faculty.
The fun began at 11:30 a.m. in PER with the Key West Band. Participants spent the day relaxing, eating lunch and winning prizes. At 2 p.m., the PER Department hosted an array of activities including kickball, volleyball and a Cheese Doodle sculpture contest.
A cooking lesson was held and more activities were planned in the evening.
