R-MWC professor premieres play in Thoresen Theatre

LYNCHBURG, Va.—Jim Peterson, R-MWC associate professor of English presents the world premiere of his one-act play, The Falling Man, on Friday, April 30th at 7:30 PM in Thoresen Theatre, located in the Leggett Building on the campus of Randolph-Macon Woman's College. The play stars professional actress, director, and R-MWC acting teacher Mary Coy, along with Ken Parks, R-MWC assistant professor of theatre/lighting and scenic design star. Appalachian fiddler and banjo picker Doug Van Gundy contributes his original music to The Falling Man, which runs through Sunday, May 2nd.

In addition to the Friday premiere, other performances will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 2nd at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $5.00 general admission and $2.00 for students and seating is limited. For reservations, call 947-8562.
