Oct. 5 event will feature Hanoch McCarty, best selling author and movitational speaker

LYNCHBURG – Randolph College will host a Chicken Soup for the Soul author Oct. 5. The 7:30 p.m. event is free and will be held in Smith Hall Theatre.
Hanoch McCarty, an internationally-recognized motivational speaker and the training director for BestSpeaker.com, will lead an interactive, fun-filled presentation. McCarty is co-author (with his wife Meladee) of the New York Times Best Selling books, A 4th Course of Chicken Soup for the Soul and Chicken Soup for the Grandparent’s Soul. McCarty and his wife are also contributors of stories in 32 of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
McCarty’s presentations have been characterized as “high energy” and include much participant involvement. The event is sponsored by the Susan Davenport Leadership Program and is organized by the Randolph College Chicken Soup Reading Group.
