
Program coordinators also received Star Coordinator Award

LYNCHBURG – Randolph College has been awarded the Shining Star Award from the United Way of Central Virginia. The award, presented March 25 at the organization's Community Appreciation Breakfast, recognizes companies who have demonstrated a unique level of campaign excellence during the past year. Recipients must, in general, have a 10 percent increase in donor participation and a 5 percent increase in donor contribution.
In addition, Tina Barnes and Ann Fabirkiewicz, coordinators of Randolph’s
campaign, received the Star Coordinator Award from the United Way. Barnes serves
as coordinator of disability services and the learning strategies program and
Fabirkiewicz is a chemistry professor. This award recognized workplace campaign
managers who go above and beyond in their efforts to coordinate individual
internal campaigns.
