LYNCHBURG, Va. — The Randolph-Macon Woman's College Chorale, directed by Assistant Professor of Music Randall Speer, will perform at the College's Christmas Vespers on Sunday, December 8th at 7:30 P.M in the Houston Memorial Chapel. This event is free and open to the public.
The evening's performance will include a service of candlelight and carols and the telling of the Christmas story in scripture and song. The program features "Once in Royal David's City," Stephen Paulus' "Sing Creations Music On," with R-MWC Assistant Professor of Music Emily Chua on piano, Sergei Rachmaninoff's "The Angel," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "There is no Rose," David MacIntyre's version of "Ave Maria," Libby Larsen's "Canticle of Mary," John Rutter's "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day," Bach's "Break Forth, O Beauteous Heavenly Light," Joseph Goodman's "Love Came Down at Christmas," "Silent Night," and "Carol of the Bells."
