About
Information Technology

Our goal is to support the College in its use of information technology resources. More specifically, Information Technology exists to provide easy-to-use, functional, current, secure, and appropriate technologies (and adequate training in their use) to students, faculty, and staff. We strive to educate and encourage the RC campus community in its use of computer technology.

Randolph College provides numerous computing facilities. Computers are provided in open, public locations for student use and are replaced every two years. In addition, computers are available in each residence hall. Laser printers and scanners are available in all public computer labs. All faculty and staff have access to their own computers as well, and all classrooms are wired for network access, including the Internet.

Information Technology supports numerous software packages including applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, audio/video editing, and desktop publishing. IT also supports a variety of communications tools which facilitate access to the Internet. In addition, our portal offers members of the Randolph College community a customizable electronic interface to a wealth of campus resources.

Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the IT policies listed above. Each staff, faculty, and student is expected to have read and understand these policies prior to logging onto the Randolph College network.

We look forward to answering any additional questions you may have.
