Heidi Kunz, professor of English, has accepted an invitation from the Cambridge University Press to contribute a chapter to F. Scott Fitzgerald in Context (2012).
The Fitzgerald volume will join collections on Jane Austen, Joseph Conrad, Henry James, Samuel Johnson, and James Joyce that already have been published in the prestigious Context series.
Kunz’s essay, “Gender in the Jazz Age,” examines Fitzgerald’s chronicling of the “transformational masculinity” and the “New New Woman” of United States culture in the 1920s.
