Laura-Gray Street, a Randolph English professor, has won a prize for "Goya's Dog."
Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built & Natural Environments recently announced Street as the winner of the inaugural poetry contest. The contest was judged by acclaimed writer and publisher
Jessie Lendennie. "The winner has to be “Goya’s Dog,” Lendennie said. "I like all the others very much, but this one is the most intriguing and challenging. It’s intellectually satisfying in the way the poet parallels the quantum and the physical. Love the use of paint both actual and metaphorical, and that special dog, of course!"
