Physics Professor Katrin Schenk and student Zahra Adahman selected to give talk at international conference.



Physics professor Katrin Schenk and rising 2nd year student Zahra Adahman's work chosen for talk at the annual Society for Neuroscience (SfN) meeting. The paper, titled "Classification of ultrasonic vocalizations in a tuberous sclerosis mouse model of autism" details their efforts towards designing an assay for communication deficits in mouse models of disease. SfN's annual meeting ("Neurosciences") provides the world's largest forum for neuroscientists to debut research and network with colleagues from around the world. More than 30,000 attendees are expected at this 2011 conference in November.
