Science Festival wins Virginia Science and Math Coalition award

The award recognizes the Randolph College Science Festival for its effectiveness in science education.

The Randolph College Science Festival won a Programs that Work Award, awarded by the Virginia Math and Science Coalition.

The Coalition recognizes exemplary mathematics, science, and integrated science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs for which there is evidence of a positive impact on student or teacher learning.

The Science Festival and its director, Peter Sheldon, will be recognized at the Virginia General Assembly Building in Richmond on January 13.
