Science and education faculty publish paper

The paper outlines ideas that classroom teachers can use to improve the perception students have of science  


"Changing Studentsí Perceptions of Scientists: Ideas for Classroom Teachers," was published in the Journal of Virginia Science Education (volume 5, summer 2013) by physics professor Peter Sheldon, education professor Peggy Schimmoeller, and Tatiana Gilstrap, a former environmental studies and physics professor.
