Sociology professor Danielle Currier recently published "Strategic Ambiguity: Protecting Emphasized Femininity and Hegemonic Masculinity in the Hookup Culture."

This article appears in the October issue of Gender & Society, the premier peer-reviewed journal for scholarship on sex, gender, and sexuality.

The results presented in this article come from a 4-year multi-method study conducted Currier and have also been presented at several conferences including the annual meetings for the American Sociological Association, National Women's Studies Association, and Southern Sociological Society.
