English faculty member leads panel discussion at book festival

Gary Dop moderated a discussion at the Twin Cities Book Festival about teaching and defining literary classics.  


Gary Dop, assistant professor of English, recently moderated a panel discussion for the Twin Cities Book Festival in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The panel discussed topics on defining and teaching about literary classics. The panel included Harvard professor and poetry critic Stephen Burt, New York Times Best-Seller Alison McGhee, award-winning author Marlon James, and author and arts speaker Kevin Smokler.
