Communication studies professor will conduct research this fall at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
Jennifer Gauthier, associate professor of communication studies, will travel to Montreal, Canada for the Fall 2011 semester to serve as Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in North American Society and Culture at Concordia University.
Gauthier is one of approximately 1,100 faculty members from around the world who will travel abroad as part of the 2011-2012 Fulbright program. Her research examines films made by and about the First Nations people of Canada through Canada's National Film Board.
The Fulbright is the flagship international exchange program sponsored by the US government to increase mutual understanding between the people of the US and other countries around the world.
