Kelley Deetz to Speak at College of William and Mary

Deetz to participate in the Anthropology Graduate Student Collective.

Kelley Deetz

This spring Kelley Deetz will present a formal lecture to the William and Mary community as well as hold an informal workshop with graduate students.

Each year the Anthropology Graduate Student Collective at the College of William and Mary invite "influential thinkers" to visit the college and share their research. Graduate students in the department are pursuing research in historical anthropology utilizing socio-cultural, biological, and archaeological approaches.

Deetz's research is interdisciplinary and centers on issues such as racial politics, culture, history, and archaeology.
