Thawda Aung presented a poster, "Integrated Cell-Phone Based Activity Monitoring and Behavior Modification to Promote Weight Loss and Increased Physical Activity," at the annual mHealth Summit in Washington D.C.
He outlined the work he has done with Katrin Schenk, assistant professor of physics, to build cell phone applications for behavior modification.
The 3rd annual mHealth Summit, the largest event of its kind, brings together leaders in government, the private sector, industry, academia, providers and not-for-profit organizations from across the mHealth ecosystem to advance collaboration in the use of wireless technology to improve health outcomes in the United States and abroad.
