Professor discusses F. Scott Fitzgerald's creative experimentation in three of his lesser known works.
Professor Heidi Kunz
Heidi Kunz, professor of English, presented a paper at the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France, in July.
The Université, together with the Musée Lumière, hosted the Eleventh International F. Scott Fitzgerald Conference, continuing a tradition of Society gatherings in locations where the novelist once resided.
Kunz’s essay, “Maritime Fitzgerald II,” treats Fitzgerald’s sustained creative experimentation with the maritime imaginary in three of his underread short stories.
At the conclusion of the conference, Kunz was named to the program committee of the next one, which will take place in Montgomery, Alabama in 2013.
