Over the next few days , you will notice sections of our Web site are changing.
The site is currently undergoing a major design facelift to reflect the College's new name and branding. This is the first phase of a complete overhaul which will see a new web architecture built on a dynamic XML based platform, driven by a content management system.
The major sections of the site will be the first launched. Other sections will follow over the next few days. In addition, imagery and content will be upgraded.
Although every effort has been made to ensure that copy is correct and links are in proper working order, you may find additional edits and changes as you read the site. Please report these to the web manager via e-mail, email@example.com or use the Site Feedback link located at the bottom of each page.
The product of months of work, this new design is by our Web consultant, mStoner of Chicago, IL. In developing this design, the mStoner team participated in multiple conference calls and on-campus visits, meeting with committees, departments, faculty members, and members of the Branding, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) Implementation Team.
From the information gathered, four designs were developed. The designs were then shared with Senior Staff, Admissions Office staff, members of the College’s Visibility Committee, and members of the BMC Team on campus. Represented in these groups were staff, faculty, alumnae, and students. After further design refinement, three of the new designs were tested with prospective-age students in a series of focus groups.
The design for the home page and the site’s secondary pages reflect the careful and thoughtful analysis of mStoner and the Randolph College graphic identity developed by our marketing firm, North Charles Street Design (NCSDO).
